Technology
One of my passions is learning new technology. I love working in the fast-paced IT industry and figuring out the newest technology trends particularly when it comes to cloud computing.
I enjoy automating tasks, writing programs as well as developing applications for others. I'm a big fan of the Go language which is what I used to build this website and I deployed it using Ansible and Terraform.

Climbing
Another passion of mine is competitive rock climbing. I have been climbing for over 25 years and competed nationally and internationally for Team Canada.
In 2016 I finished the Canadian National bouldering season ranked 10th in Canada, and competed in Bouldering World Cups in Switzerland, India, Austria, America, and two years later in Moscow, Russia. Below is a link to an article published on the Gripped Climbing Website.
After finishing my competitive climbing career, I volunteered on the Board of Directors with the Ontario Climbing Federation as their Treasurer and Vice-Chair. I love being involved in the climbing community and being part of the future of competitive climbing in Canada.

Before starting my professional IT career and computer science education, I actually started my career in music! I graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Music in 2006 and have been singing with the Tafelmusik Chamber Choir since 2000.
Prior to my professional choral experience, I sang with the Ontario Youth Choir, the National Youth Choir of Canada and the World Youth Choir in America, Belgium, Italy, and Venezuela. It's been a great privilege to represent Canada internationally in both music and climbing!
